Information we collect
We collect your name, mobile number, email address, city, and event details you provide while creating bookings. Vendors additionally provide business details, documents for verification, and bank account details for payouts. Payment card and UPI details are processed directly by Razorpay and are never stored on MandapSearch servers.
How we use your information
Your information is used to create and manage bookings, verify vendors, process escrow payments and payouts, send OTPs and booking notifications via SMS (MSG91) and email (SendGrid), prevent fraud, and improve the platform. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Sharing with vendors
When you make a booking, the vendor receives your name, contact number, event date and requirements — the minimum needed to deliver the service. Vendors are contractually prohibited from using your data for anything beyond your booking.
Payments & escrow
All payments are processed by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. Escrow balances are held with Razorpay until service completion. MandapSearch only stores transaction references and status.
Cookies & sessions
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in and basic analytics to understand how the platform is used. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
Data retention & deletion
Booking and payment records are retained as required by Indian tax and financial regulations. You may request deletion of your account and personal data by writing to support@mandapsearch.com; records we are legally required to keep will be retained for the mandated period only.
Your rights
You can access, correct, or update your profile information at any time from your dashboard. For any privacy concern, contact our grievance officer at support@mandapsearch.com — we respond within 30 days as per Indian IT rules.
